Is a crow or an owl bad ju ju??

Two of my friends and i were standing outside right next to my friends car and a crow landed on the roof of the car and just hung out. didn't make a noise just hung out! he kept sort of walking towards us and it was getting a little weird. then when we were heading back to the house he sort of followed and landed on the fence post.. well by this point it was a little creepy so we booked it towards the house. when we lookd outside he was gone. So we went back outside to see if maybe he was in the tree and no it was on the roof of the house right above the door. Weird or are we weird?? Then when my friend got to her apartment there was an owl hooting right outside her window. This is all in daylight and i thought that was a bad omen to see an owl in the day?? help??
